Practice Principal
Dr Angelos Alvanos is the Practice Principal and lead orthodontist of the Hampstead Orthodontic Practice and the Golders Green Orthodontic Practice. He was born in America and qualified and obtained his Masters in Orthodontics at Saint Louis University, Missouri. He has undertaken research projects for the Centre of Advanced Dental Education in the USA, as well as specialist training in multiple orthodontic techniques, including certification in the use of Invisalign, lingual appliances and Damon. Angelos received a nomination for Best Orthodontist (2013), which acknowledges commitment to excellence and success in orthodontic care. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the British Orthodontic Society, British Lingual Society and the World Federation of Orthodontists
Treatment is carried out by Dr Alvanos and our Orthodontic Therapists. Our therapists are specialized, qualified and experienced members of our team, who are registered with the General Dental Council. They undertake certain clinical procedures in the practice under instruction from our principal orthodontist.
