Who You Will See – Meet our Team
Orthodontics is a specialised field of dentistry.  A specialist orthodontist first undergoes all the training of a general dentist and then dedicates an additional three years training to qualify in this specialised field.  All our orthodontists are members of the British Orthodontic Society.

Dr Angelos Alvanos D.M.D., M.S.Ortho. (St Louis, USA)
Principal Orthodontist
Angelos was born in Tampa, Florida (USA).  He completed his General Dentistry degree in 2000 and obtained his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics at the Saint Louis University (MO, USA) in 2005.  He has undertaken research projects for the Centre of Advanced Dental Education in the USA, as well as multiple orthodontic techniques, including certification in the use of Invisalign and lingual braces.  Angelos is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the British Orthodontic Society and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Dr Gerry Bellman M.Sc., B.D.S., F.D.S., D.Orth., R.C.S.
Gerry is world renowned and respected throughout this profession.  He qualified with a Master's degree in Orthodontics and his persistent interest and dedication in orthodontics has contributed to his platinum status with Align Technology (Invisalign) and prominent position on the European Clinical Education Council.

Dr Jackie Naftalin B.D.S., F.D.S., D.Orth., R.C.S.
Jackie qualified with General Distinction and Honours in Orthodontics.  She is a member of British, European, American and International Orthodontic Associations and actively participates in both national and international specialist conferences. She has served on Orthodontic, Dental and Oral Health Committees at local, national and international level.
